دنیا بھر میں 20 کروڑ سے زائد افراد اردو بولتے ہیں، جس کے باعث اردو دنیا کی دسویں سب سے زیادہ بولی جانے والی زبان ہے۔ اس کے باوجود اردو کے لیے نہ تو کوئی مرکزی ڈیجیٹل لائبریری موجود ہے اور نہ ہی کوئی مؤثر سیلف پبلشنگ پلیٹ فارم۔ اس کی ایک بڑی وجہ خود اردو رسم الخط کی نوعیت بھی ہے، کیونکہ اردو اور عربی دونوں زبانیں اب بھی دنیا کے سب سے بڑے ڈیجیٹل کتابی پلیٹ فارم، ’’ایمیزون کنڈل‘‘، پر مکمل طور پر سپورٹ نہیں کی جاتیں۔ دوسری جانب، ایک بڑے آن لائن کتب ذخیرے ’’ریختہ‘‘ پر زیادہ تر کتابیں اسکین شدہ صورت میں محفوظ ہیں اور یہ بنیادی طور پر ایک فاؤنڈیشن پر مبنی ماڈل کے تحت کام کرتا ہے۔
یہاں ایک واضح اور نمایاں خلا موجود ہے، اور ایک ایسے پلیٹ فارم کی ضرورت ہے جو ایک واضح مقصد کے تحت قائم کیا گیا ہو، پرکشش ڈیزائن اور مؤثر خصوصیات کا حامل ہو، ایک قابلِ عمل کاروباری ماڈل رکھتا ہو، اور مستقبل میں بڑے پیمانے پر توسیع کی صلاحیت رکھتا ہو۔

With over 200 million speakers worldwide, Urdu is the 10th most widely spoken language in the world. Yet, there is no centralized digital library or self-publishing platform. This is partly due to the script of the language itself, as both Urdu and Arabic are still not fully supported on the most prominent digital book platform, “Amazon Kindle.” Furthermore, the large book repository platform “Rekhta” primarily stores scanned copies and operates on a foundation-based model.
There is clearly a significant gap for a platform that is purpose-driven, offers an attractive UI/UX interface with effective features, has a viable business model, and has the potential to scale.
ADEEB ONLINE is the platform that provides the solution. ADEEB ONLINE is built with clear objectives and is part of our long-term vision and mission.

Here is How You can be Part of Our Journey
- First 50 Founding Fellows: We are looking for our first 50 founding fellows. The required investment is PKR 200K each. This will provide us (the founders) a launching pad to fully focus and start the strategy execution while looing for the rest of the seed funding.
- Total Seed Funding: In order to reach to the next milestone where we make Adeeb Online a business success, we need a total of PKR 70m funding (i.e., 350 founding fellows).
- Key Spend Areas: The seed funding will help executing our business strategy. Key spend areas are the Product Development (40%), Content Acquisition and Processing (30%), Marketing and Brand Activation (20%), and Management (10%).
Duration: The seed funding is required for the period of 24 months (2-years).

With over 26 years of diversified experience across project management, contracts, supply chain, and IT, his professional journey spans major energy firms including BP Pakistan, KNPC Kuwait, ADNOC Abu Dhabi, and eSolutions. A passionate Urdu literature enthusiast, he brings strategic vision and operational leadership to drive the platform’s growth.
Muhammad Shakeel is the concept owner and product lead of Adeeb Online, steering the platform’s technical innovation and development. With extensive expertise in application development, system architecture, Oracle Utilities, cloud infrastructure (AWS & OCI), and database systems, he has served in key roles at Oracle, Infotech, and Utilities Tech. His technical depth ensures a robust and scalable digital experience.
Zaheeruddin is a seasoned Creative Director and founder of ID Creations and Arey Wah Productions. He brings a strong portfolio of successful media campaigns for brands like Amreli Steel, Kenwood, Knorr, and Homage. At Adeeb Online, he drives media engagement and brand identity, having already delivered a viral ad campaign. Zaheer also wrote, directed, and produced the critically acclaimed feature film Chikkar (2023).
